3 apples (Ambrosia best)
2 filo (puff pastry) sheets
juice from ½ lemon
water to cook the apples
3 TBLS apricot preserves
2 TBLS water
cinnamon to sprinkle

Directions:
Directions:
thinly slice 3 cored apples
add ½ juice from lemon & water to cook apples in microwave for slightly more than 3 minutes

roll out one 18" filo sheet & use pizza cutter to create 6, 3" strips X 2

combine 2 TBSP water & 3 TBSP apricot preserves X 2
spoon this mixture in center of each strip

place apple slices in center of dough strip, layering slightly one partially on top of the other (see photo)
add plain filo strip on top & start to roll up apples to create a rose (see photo)
place each rose in greased? big muffin tin (see photo)

bake at 375ºF for 35-45 minutes
