"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
White people have a lot of explaining to do when it comes to grocery store hummus. We've done bad things to chickpeas and we must atone. This is a quick and easy recipe that doesn't involve rehydrating dried chickpeas as traditional recipes do. The cheaters-trick is to use canned chickpeas, just make sure to rinse them really well to get any additional salt off.
