1 Large Ham Bone with Ham
½ Onion Grated
1 Carrot Shredded
2 Celery Stalks Diced Small
Salt and Pepper to Taste

1 C Milk
3 T Flour

4 - 5 Large Potatoes

3 - 4 C Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place Ham Bone in large pot or dutch oven and cover with water (or a half pot of water). Do not fill the pot with water
Add onion, carrot, celery, and salt and pepper. Boil uncovered for 1 hour.

Make slurry with 1 C milk and 3 T flour and let sit while water is boiling.

Remove ham and dice small and set aside. Discard bone.

Add potatoes, salt, and pepper to taste and simmer for 20 minute until potatoes are fork tender.

Add 3 - 4 C milk and bring to simmer again.

Stir or whisk in slurry, slowly. Bring to boil.

Add diced ham back in until warmed
