1 Cup soft butter or margarine
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Shape into a roll about 1/2 inch in diameter. Cut into 1 inch pieces. Put on a cookie sheet and push ends down slightly to form crescent shape.

Bake at 375 º for 15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm and again when cool.

Makes about 6 dozen.
