This is based on the Betty Crocker cheese sauce recipe. It’s from my Mom’s cookbook, and my Grandmother Mc’s cookbook circa 1950.
This recipe is a collaboration of Susan’s flavor and Tom’s crispy top and bottom! I must admit that it made me very happy to have my nieces and nephews eat it, then finding out they “didn’t like” macaroni and cheese.
