Directions:
Peel 6-8 potatoes, chop and cook, drain.
Saute 2 tablespoons onion (chopped) in one stick butter. When onion is tender add 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 2 cups milk (optional use one cup whipping cream and one cup whole milk) 8 oz. sour cream. Add potatoes. Warm soup over medium to low heat DO NOT boil.
Serve with grated cheddar cheese and bacon bits.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Granny V was very insistent on the DO NOT BOIL. The soup will curdle and won't be worth eating!! Serve with cheddar cheese and bacon crumbled on top if desired. Granny V had written all over this recipe "real good"!!!
