Dough:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 ⅓ c. butter (260 g)
2 ⅔ c. flour (320 g)

Filling:

2 T butter
1 ½ c. brown sugar
1 T vanilla
dash salt
2 eggs
1 ½ c. pecans (or walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese; blend in flour. Chill 1 hour.

Cream butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in nuts.

Make into 48 balls; place in mini tassie pans. Place 1 tsp. filling in each. Bake at 350º 15-20 minutes. Remove immediately.
