1 1/2 Cup Thinly Sliced Celery
1 Cup Chopped Onion
1/2 Cup Margarine
Baked and Crumbled Cornbread (2 pkg. 12 oz each cornbread)
2 Eggs
1 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
3/4 Teaspoon Sage
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

This is the ingredients I wrote down fourty years ago.

Prepare the dry corn bread mix according to package directions or make from scratch. Cool and crumble.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease one 9 x 13 baking dish
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and saute the celery and onion until soft
In a large bowl, combine the celery, onions, 3 cups crumbled corn bread, eggs, chicken stock, sage, salt and pepper and mix well
Place into prepared dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
