13 oz can evaporated milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
13 oz can pumpkin

1 box yellow cake mix

butter
chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°.

Combine first 6 ingredients, mix well, and pour into 9x13 baking dish.

Sprinkle DRY cake mix on top.

Dot with thin slices of butter, then top with nuts.

Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Serve hot with whipped cream.

Perfect recipe for autumn! This is a variety of the "dump cakes" that were popular in the 2000's, where you make a cake batter and then "dump" a box of cake mix on top. The two parts combine while cooking and make a delicious, moist cake on the bottom and a crunchy top.
