Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ cups flour
1 stick butter, melted
1 ½ tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs 5 minutes. This causes it to rise as there is not baking powder or soda. Add sugar slowly while beater is running. Mix in the rest of ingredients. Pour into a 9” x 13” greased pan. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees.

Frost with sprinkled confectioner’s sugar OR make a confectioner’s sugar icing. I always do. Add 1 ½ tsp almond extract to sugar.
