Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 stick margarine or butter
30 large marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla
green food coloring
4½ c. corn flakes
red hots

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, melt the butter and stir in the marshmallows until all is melted and is smooth. Stir in the vanilla and take the pot off the heat. Stir in the green food coloring, and then the corn flakes. Stir gently to avoid breaking the corn flakes unnecessarily and yet coating bunches of corn flakes that can become clusters of "holly." With a small spoon, gather a few flakes and drop them onto waxed paper on a cookie sheet to cool. Onto each cluster of now green corn flakes, place 2 or 3 red hots to resemble holly berries on the holly leaves. These do not freeze well, but can be kept in a tightly-sealed container in the frig for several days.

Personal Notes:
These are quite eye-catching, especially when strategically placed among groupings of cookies on the cookie tray. They also are quite tasty. Watch out for the crunchy red hots, though! Grandchildren are particularly happy to see these each Christmas.
