Ingredients:
Ingredients:
½ c. undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
¼ c. sugar
1 11.5oz pkg milk chocolate morsels
½ - 1 tsp almond extract
1 c finely chopped almonds, toasted (can use sliced almonds
and then chop them)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk and sugar in a sauce pan over medium heat to a full boil. Boil for 3 minutes (NO LONGER than 3 minutes), stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in morsels and extract until mixture is smooth. Chill 45 minutes in the pan in the frig. With a teaspoon (or your hands), shape into balls the size you prefer. Roll the balls over a saucer of chopped almonds.

These cookies freeze well; separate layers with plastic wrap or waxed paper.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
These are so quick and easy to make. Caution: be sure not to boil the chocolate/milk mixture too long or it won't allow you to easily form into balls and they are hard to chew! (voice of experience...) They add good color, size, taste, and texture to a Christmas cookie tray...
