6 slices bacon, chopped
2 onions, sliced
6 cups water
6 oz can tomato paste
1 lb red potatoes, quartered
1-2 lb fish filets (cod) boneless, skinless!!!
8 eggs
1 tsp (+/-) tabasco, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Render fat from bacon and cook onions in the fat until tender. Add water and tomato and potato. Bring to boil and boil at least 10 minutes.

Add fish, cover and cook 15 minutes. Add tabasco then crack eggs on top. Do not stir. Replace lid and boil for and additional 5 minutes. Stir and serve.
