1 lb shredded chicken; cooked
7 C. chicken broth
2 C. diced celery
2 cans sliced water chestnuts
1 can chop suey vegetables
8 T. minced onion
6 T. cornstarch
4 T. butter
2 T. soy sauce
2 T. sugar
4 T. cold water
large bag chow mein noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in butter; add chicken broth, celery and chicken; simmer until celery is tender. Then add vegetables, water chestnuts, soy sauce and sugar. In a separate dish blend together cornstarch and water, add to pan and cook until thick and clear. To thicken add more cornstarch/water mixture. If you like it thinner add less mixture.
