2-CUPS CORN MEAL
2-TBS. FLOUR
2-TSP BAKING POWDER
1-TBS. SALT
1-ONION MINCED
1-EGG
1-CUP MILK
Directions:
Directions:

MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A BOWL.
ADD THE ONION, EGG AND ENOUGH MILK TO MOISTEN THE MIX .
MIX WELL.
DROP BY SPOON FULLS INTO THE HOT OIL AND DEEP FRY UNTIL THEY ARE GOLDEN BROWN.


NOTE: USE 1/2-TSP SODA INSTEAD OF BAKING POWDER, OMITTING EGGS AND MIXING WITH BUTTERMILK.
