4 large baking apples, cored, unpeeled

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon cold water

1/2 cup Land O LakesŪ Heavy Whipping Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 450°F. Place apples into 1 1/2- or 2-quart ungreased round glass baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar; dot with butter. Bake, basting and turning twice, 20-30 minutes or until apples are fork tender.

STEP 2

Combine cornstarch and water in bowl; add cream. Set aside.

STEP 3

Remove apples from pan. Pour cream mixture into pan; stir. Return apples to pan. Continue baking 8-10 minutes or until sauce thickens and bubbles.

STEP 4

Place apples onto individual serving plates. Spoon sauce over warm apples.
