1/2 cup (1/2 can) almond paste
4 egg yolks
2 cups softened butter
1 3/4 cup sugar
3 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt

Icing
3 3/4 cup powdered sugar
3 tab meringue powder
1/3 cup water
coarse sugar, sprinkles for decoration

Directions:

Cookies
In a large bowl, beat almond paste and egg yolks.
Add butter, sugar, salt and beat until fluffy.
Gradually add flour
Divide dough into 4 sections. Make into a ball and flatten into 1/4 inch thick disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in fridge for ** 2 hours**.
Cut with floured cookie cutters.
Bake 375 Degrees for 10 minutes.


Icing
Beat powdered sugar, meringue powder, and water for 5 minutes until fluffy.
Let icing stand until set.
