1 stick butter, melted
1½ cups pretzels, crushed
3 tablespoons sugar

Filling:
1 cup of sugar
1 package of cream cheese (8 ounces), softened

2 10-ounce packages of frozen strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, pretzels and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl and then press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. In another bowl, mix together cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar. Slowly fold in the whip topping. Spread this mixture over the pretzels. Refrigerate until cold. Prepare the jello with the boiling water. Stir in the frozen strawberries and put in the refrigerator until the mixture begins to set. Then, pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until the jello is completely set.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
For the crust I do not add the sugar. Instead I sprinkle a couple of packages of sugar substitute over the pretzels and press into the pan. I sometimes use more whip topping and cream cheese, depending on the size of the pan. One can never add too much of a good thing!
