2 pkgs yeast
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tsp sugar
1 cup milk, scalded
1 tsp salt
3 Tbsp sugar
4 tsp butter or lard
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put yeast, sugar and water into cup.
Let stand in warm place.
Scald milk and pour into bowl with salt, sugar and butter.
Let cool to lukewarm.
Pour in yeast mixture and stir in flour, 1 cup at a time, until dough is soft.
Knead a little and put in bowl.
Let rise about 45 minutes.
Take out and knead a little; make into rolls about the size of an egg.
Let rise until double in size, usually about 30 to 40 minutes.
Bake at 415º F for 20 to 25 minutes.
