3 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 Eggs, beaten
½ Cup warm water, more if needed to make a medium soft dough


4 Potatoes, cubed
3-4 Slices of Bread, cubed
¼ Cup Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt in a large bowl. Stir in eggs and water to make a medium soft dough, kneed until smooth.
Divide into 3 flat disks. Dust with flour and let stand for at least 30 minutes.


Put cubbed potatoes into a large kettle and fill with water 1/2 full. Add 1 tsp salt, bring to a boil. Start dropping dough, cut into small pieces, into the kettle. You can either use a sissors or knife to cut the dough into pieces a little bigger than an almond. Boil for 10 minutes, or until potatoes and knepfla are cooked through. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.

Brown bread crumbs in butter and pour over Knepfla.

This is a family favorite. My Grandparents ate it with a cream based cucmber salad. We often serve it with Pork Chops
