3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 teaspoon cinnamon
6 cups sliced, pared, cored apples
1 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º Bake for approximately 50 minutes or until golden brown and apples or cooked.

Mix dry ingredients and toss with fruit and lemon juice. Turn into pastry lined pie plate. (you can make your own crust or buy at the store).

Cut the butter into small pieces and place around the apple mixture. Place top crust on and seal around edges. Make several slits in top.

We love homemade apple pie and this recipe is so easy to make especially if you purchase the crust at the market. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top. Or a simple caramel sauce would be elegant.
