Ingredients: 2 medium-sized heads of broccoli (or 1 lrg bag of frozen broccoli, thawed) 1 can cream of chicken soup 2 T lemon juice 2 T mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip) 2 T white wine ¾ tsp curry powder 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:Steam the broccoli and break pieces into medium bite sizes. Break the broccoli into pieces) and steam over boiling water until done. Place the broccoli pieces evenly onto the bottom of the casserole dish (9x13) or other flat-bottomed serving bowl that can be baked at 350º in the oven. Whip all other ingredients together in a medium sized pan and cook/stir until smooth and hot. Pour cooked sauce over the broccoli and with a spoon spread it evenly over the broccoli. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over surface and cover with foil until ready for baking in a 350º oven for 15-20 minutes. Note: if preparing ahead of time, refrigerate until ready to bake, then remove foil and bake in a 350º oven for 15-20 minutes until well heated and cheese on top is completely melted. |

Amazing how many family and guests find that broccoli is "not so bad" when the sauce (and cheese) are partnered with it!
