1 c sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 c chopped walnuts
1 c crushed soda crackers
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Beat eggs and combine with sugar and baking powder. Add nuts and soda crackers and stir in vanilla. Pour into a greased 8" or 9" pie plate and bake at 300º for 30 minutes.

This is an old-fashioned recipe that my mom used to make and I loved it. I remember she would serve it with a little bit of whipped cream which made it even better. This is a little chewy. I think you can also bake it in a 8" square glass dish and cut it up in squares for a small snack.
