• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• ½ teas salt
• 1 stick Oleo
• 1 cup water
• ½ cup shortening
• 3 Tbsp cocoa
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 teas vanilla
• ½ cup buttermilk
• 1 teas baking soda
FROSTING
• 1 stick Oleo
• 3 Tbsp cocoa
• 1 box (I lb) powdered sugar
• 1 teas vanilla
• 6 Tbsp milk
• ½ cup chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease and flour a 18” x 13” sheet pan
3. Place flour, sugar and salt in a bowl
4. Put oleo, water, shortening, cocoa in a saucepan
5. Bring mixture in saucepan to a boil and pour over the dry mixture in bowl
6. Mix well
7. In another bowl, combine eggs, vanilla, buttermilk and baking soda
8. Mix well and combine to first mixture
9. Bake in greased and floured sheet pan at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
10. While cake is baking, start frosting
11. Use same saucepan as cake mixture (no need to wash it)
12. Melt butter and cocoa (do not boil)
13. Take off heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla, milk and nuts
14. Stir well and ice cake while icing and cake are hot
15. Let cool, cut in squares to serve
