Ingredients:  
• 1 ½ cup sugar
• 2 Tbsp flour
• ¾ stick butter
• 1 can sour pitted cherries
• ½ cup cream (sweet or sour)
• 4 egg yolks or 3 large
• 1 teas vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream sugar, flour, and butter. Add eggs, cream, and vanilla.
2. Line pie shell with one can drained sour pitted cherries or Muscadine hulls. Pour custard over cherries.
3. Bake in hot oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake 30 minutes. Top with meringue and brown.
