1 1/2 cups shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups salted peanuts
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 º
In large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars.
Add eggs one at time, beating well after each one is added.
Beat in vanilla.
In separate bowl, combine flour, soda and salt well. When done, add gradually to creamed mixture.
Stir in chips and peanuts.
Drop by tablespoon 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
