PASTRY
• 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
• 1 cup flour
FILLING
• 2 eggs
• 1 ½ cups brown sugar (light)
• Dash salt
• 2 Tbsp melted butter
• 1 ½ teas vanilla flavoring
• 1 1/3 cup broken pecans (divided)

Directions:
Directions:
1) Soften cream cheese and butter at room temperature
2) Blend in flour and stir well
3) Chill for at least 1 hour
4) Shape into tiny balls and place in tiny, ungreased muffin cups
5) Press dough against bottom and sides of cups
6) Make filling
7) Beat eggs slightly, add brown sugar and beat well
8) Add melted butter, vanilla, salt and stir well
9) Take ½ the pecans and divide among pastry cups
10) Pour in egg mixture
11) Top with remaining pecans
12) Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until filling is set
13) Loosen tassies by turning them
14) Cool 5 minutes and remove from pans
