1 large can whole tomatoes
2 small cans of tomato sauce
2 small cans tomato paste
1-2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbs Oregano
3 Tbs sugar
1 tbs Italian Seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 Tbs crushed red pepper (or less if you dont like it spicy)
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground Italian sausage ( I use Johnsonville Mild)
1 large container Ricotta
1 pkg strip mozzarella
2 pkgs shredded mozzarella

1to 2 pkgs of Lasagna noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and sausage (drain if needed). Add all other ingredients except lasagna noodles, Ricotta, and mozzarella to make the sauce; simmer sauce on low several hours. Cook Lasagna noodles according to package. Drain and cool; then layer lasagna pan as follows:noodles, meat sauce, strip mozzarella, noodles, meat sauce, ricotta, noodles, meat sauce, shredded mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 mins.
