Graduation Punch Recipe

1 C granulated sugar
C strained lemon juice
2 (46 oz) cans pineapple juice
1 pt bottle cranberry juice
2 (1qt) bottles lemon-lime carbonated beverage
1 qt. raspberry sherbet
Pineapple chunks and cherries
Fresh mint sprigs

Have all liquid ingredients well chilled.
Dissolve sugar in lemon juice in punch bowl.
Blend in pineapple juice, cranberry juice and carbonated beverages.
Add sherbet, stirring until softened and partially dissolved.
Makes 1 gallons.
May garnish with pineapple chunks and cherries strung on picks and sprigs of fresh mint, as desired.
