2 cups cooked kidney beans, drained
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup cold water
2 packages unflavored gelatin (2 Tbsp.)
1 cup boiling water
2 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mash kidney beans to a paste. Add lemon juice and 1/2 cup cold water and mash, beat or blend until smooth. Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup water. Add boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add sugar and stir well. Mix in bean paste. Spread in a square pan about 8 x 8 inches and chill until set. Cut into small cubes.
