48 Hershey Kisses
½ c. Shortening
¾ c. Peanut Butter
⅓ c. Granulated Sugar
⅓ c. Packed Brown Sugar
1 Egg
2 tbsp. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1½ c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking soda
½ tsp. Salt

Extra granulated Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter and shortening with sugars until fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla, blend well. Stir together flour, soda, and salt. Gradually beat unto peanut butter mixture. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until lightly browned. Immediately press Hershey kiss into center of cookie. Allow to cool.
