1 lb. broccoli
C purple onion, ringed or chopped
1 lb. bacon, crisp
2 C red seedless grapes
1 C grated cheddar cheese

Dressing:
2 Tb red wine vinegar
1 C mayonnaise
C sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash broccoli and cut up in small pieces.
Cook bacon and break in small pieces. Set aside and place on salad just before serving.
Prepare all other ingredients and combine together.
This salad may be prepared the day before serving. Keeps well.
Prepare dressing by mixing with blender or food processor. The dressing is great on a lettuce green salad, too.

Alternative salad: Omit cheese and add raisins and/or C roasted sunflower seeds.
