4 T butter
4 small onions, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
6 slices fried/crumbled bacon
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
2 egg yolks
2 eggs
1 c. light cream
⅛ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp minced fresh chives
1 unbaked 9" pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet and add minced onion. Saute until onions are soft and translucent; add salt/pepper. Drain onions and spread onto the pie crust. Add crumbled bacon. Sprinkle Swiss cheese over. Beat together eggs, egg yolks, light cream, nutmeg, and chives. Pourinto pie crust. Bake 30 minutes in 350 oven. let set for about 5 minutes before serving.

Note: The best pre-made pie crust for this is, in my opinion, a Marie Callender pie crust.
