1 lb. stuffed sausage
1/2 lb. bacon
1 medium onion, chopped
2 carrots, diced
2 large or 4 med. potatoes, cubed
1 quart chicken broth
thyme to taste
bay leaf, optional
1 large jar of sauekraut

Directions:
Directions:
Saute chopped bacon and onion,add the sausage which has been cut into small pieces, when they are browned, add the chicken broth, potaoes and carrots. Bring to a boil,cook until potaoes are soft, add the sauerkraut, cook until the sauerkraut feels soft.. add the thyme and bay leaf, cook 5 more minutes. Remove the bay leaf.
you may add more chicken broth if you want it to be juicier.
