Broccoli soup Recipe

2 Tbsp. butter (for sauteing)
1 onion
1 32 oz. bag of broccoli
6 cups of Hot water
Consomme mix, salt and pepper for seasoning

Thickening Paste:
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp. flour

1 cup milk

Saute onion in butter add broccoli.
Add 6 cups of hot water and spices.
Once boiled, puree with hand blender
In a separate pan, simmer flour and butter until thickened. Add to soup
Let soup simmer for 45 minutes and add 1 cup of milk.
