Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My mother used to make these brownies for the youth at Westfall Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas. Mom and dad helped so many young people through the years by "listening" over a brownie and a coke at our house after church. I remembered this when I began teaching, and often made these brownies for my students as a reward or a "just because I care" moment.
