Mix:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
2/3 tsp salt

Add:
1 cup milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
4 tsp melted butter (bacon drippings are better)

Directions:
Directions:
Bake in well greased, hot, pan at 425 degrees until done (about 20 minutes). Iron skillet is best.
