1 pkg. Dry Yeast
¼ C. Warm Water
¼ C. Shortening
1 tsp. Salt
3 tbsp. Sugar
1 Egg (beaten)
5 C. Flour
½ C. Margarine, Melted
¾ C. Warm Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Soften dry yeast in warm water. Add warm milk, shortening, salt, sugar, egg and flour. Let stand until double in bulk. Roll dough to about 1" thickness and cut in diamond shapes. Dip each piece in the melted maragine and place in tube pan, allowing each piece to overlap. Make 2 layers and let stand 1 hour. Bake in a 350º oven until brown. Serve warm, pull apart.
