Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 C milk, heated
1 small jar marshmallow cream
3 eggs
1Ό C sugar
1½ -2 tsp vanilla
1 can Eagle Brand milk
Additional milk
Ice
Rock Salt
3 C fresh strawberries or fresh peaches, washed and sliced, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
• Heat milk and dissolve marshmallow cream in hot milk.
• Cool marshmallow mixture.
• In a mixing bowl, mix 3 eggs, 1 C sugar, and vanilla with hand mixer.
• Add Eagle Brand milk.
• Add marshmallow mixture to egg/sugar mixture
• Mix well.
• Place in 1 gallon ice cream maker, with fruit, if desired, and fill to fill line with milk.
• To make ice cream, follow directions on ice cream maker.

The key to the ice cream firming is to gradually add the rock salt and ice together as the maker rotates. Place the milk container inside the maker, and surround with ice along the outside of the container. Then add a small amount of rock salt on top of the ice. Add ice and salt to the top line of the maker, and continue to add more ice, then rock salt as the maker rotates and the ice melts.

TIP: If you pour too much rock salt, the ice cream will firm up at the bottom first. This will cause the maker to stop and will leave the ice cream too soft on top. If you don’t add enough, it will not firm up at all.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
WARNING: DO NOT ALLOW ROCK SALT TO GET INSIDE THE MAKER. THE ICE CREAM MAKER SHOULD STOP WHEN THE ICE CREAM IS READY TO EAT. TO PREVENT SALT FROM GETTING IN ICE CREAM, DO NOT TAKE OFF THE LID TO CHECK ON THE ICE CREAM.
