½ C softened butter
1 egg
½ C sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1¼ C all purpose flour
¼ tsp soda
⅛ tsp salt
½ C finely chopped nuts
Hershey’s Chocolate kisses candies

Directions:
Directions:
• Preheat oven to 350°.
• Cream together butter, egg, vanilla and sugar.
• Combine flour, soda and salt.
• Add flour mixture to creamed mixture.
• Roll into 1 inch balls. (Hint: Cookies make a better presentation if they are small.)
• Place fine nuts into shallow pan, or on a plate.
• Roll 1 inch balls in nuts.
• Prepare chocolate kisses by taking wrappers off in advance. (Don’t snitch!)
• Bake for 8 minutes or until set, then put chocolate kisses into center of each cookie. Bake for 2 minutes longer.
• Allow to cool on wired rack.
