• Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
• Dilute Jell-O in 1 C of hot water.
• When cake is hot, poke holes in it with a fork.
• Pour hot Jell-O on cake to run into cake through holes.
• Allow to cool then refrigerate.
• An hour or so before serving, mix together thawed strawberries, juice, and vanilla
• If necessary, add several drops of red food coloring to make strawberry mixture
• Fold into Cool Whip.
• Place on top of cake and garnish with fresh strawberries.
