One-half cup sugar
One teaspoon cinnamon
One tablespoon butter, softened

One-half cup shortening
one and cups packed brown sugar
One egg
one cup buttermilk
One teaspoon baking soda
One-half teaspoon salt
One and cups sliced rhubarb
one teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, cinnamon, butter.
Blend together for topping.
Cream shortening and brown sugar.
Add egg, buttermilk, baking soda and salt.
Lastly, add flour.
Stir in rhubarb and vanilla.
Pour into 9x13 greased pan; add topping and chopped nuts.
Bake 35-40 minutes at 350
