1/2 c. chopped dates
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. cooked pumpkin
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dates, nuts, and 2 tbsp. of flour and set aside. Melt butter and lend in brown sugar. Remove from heat. Stir in pumpkin and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift together dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture, mixing thoroughly. Stir in floured dates and nuts. Turn into a greased 9 x 13" pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm with shipped cream.
