3 c. rhubarb cut into small pieces
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour'1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange rhubarb in a 7 x 1/2 x 12 inch pan. Cover with sugar, dot with butter. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, beat. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together; add alternately with milk. Pour over rhubarb. Bake 50-60 minutes at 350º.
