1 stick butter
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 tsp. baking powder
⅔ cups peaches with juice (fresh peaches).

Directions:

Melt butter in a deep baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and sugar. Add milk and mix. Pour batter over butter in baking dish.

Spoon peaches over batter. DO NOT stir. Bake at 300 degrees for about one hour.

We all looked forward to Adele's peach cobbler every time we ate a meal at Adele and Charles' home in Front Royal.
Of course, she served vanilla ice cream on the top. YUMMY!
