Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
One cup molasses
⅓ cup sugar
one tablespoon lukewarm water
Two and cups rye flour
Two and cups white flour
Two tablespoons soft shortening
Two packages active dry yeast
Grated rind of two small oranges

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water
Stir in molasses, sugar, salt and.orange rind.
Add shortening and flour.
Knead on lightly floured board, about 10 minutes.
Let rise twice.
Divide and make in two loaves; prick top.
Place in lightly greased baking pans and let rise until double in size.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 375 oven.
