1 box confectioner's sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ (3 sticks) butter
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and salt. Cream shortening and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time and beat until all are used. Add the flour gradually and mix well at low speed. Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
