1 cups sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 stick butter, melted
3 eggs, well-beaten
cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 heaping cup grated fresh coconut
1 9-in, unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, butter, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and coconut. Pour into the pie shell. Place the pie on a cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour, or until firm. If the crust starts to brown too rapidly, tent it with foil.
