1 package dry yeast
cup warm water
2 teaspoons sugar

cup (one stick) butter
2 cups milk
cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
5 eggs
several cups flour

brown sugar
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In a cup, mix the first 3 ingredients. Set aside and let the yeast activate. In a large kettle melt butter and add milk and sugar. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add eggs, salt, yeast mixture and enough flour to form a ball. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size. Roll out on floured surface. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on the dough. Roll up, slice and put in a greased pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size. Bake at 350 or until slightly brown. Frost if desired. Good with a cup of coffee.

You may also use the same recipe for donuts. After the first time the dough rises, roll out and cut into donut shapes. Cover and let rise until double. Fry in oil. Glaze when hot.
