5 to 6 red potatoes
2 teas salt
1/2 pound bacon
1 cup chopped celery
large onion chopped
3/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 teas dry mustard
approximately 2 teas flour for thickening
3/4 cup water
3 hard boiled eggs

Directions:
Directions:
cook and cool potatoes either in water or microwave, i have done it both ways.
Slice potatoes into a big bowl.
Cut bacon into pieces and fry in pan
remove from pan drain bacon on paper towel save pan grease
cook celery and onion in bacon grease in pan
add vinegar to pan.
in a small bowl mix flour, sugar,and mustard, then add water to make a paste.
add this paste to pan and cook till thickened.
add potatoes and bacon

This recipie is a very old one. It came from ancestors back in the 40-s
My mom made it for special occasions. It was my favorite growing up.
